CPSI means cells per inch. The higher the CPSI, the more air channels and the better the filtration and flow of the cat. Highly recommendable, especially for high powered engines.

A race cat operates similarly to a stock OEM catalytic converter. Both have a honeycomb interior, in the race cat with a precious metal surface. Emissions are reduced through oxidation of unhealthy and harmful substances in the exhaust gasses.

A turbocharged car benefits even more, as the higher exhaust flow increases turbo spool-up. Power gains of over 10% can be achieved.
